Directions

FOR MUNICIPAL LINES: Shovel 25 pounds of ZX-450 in manhole. lf larger charges are necessary, dump in 50 pound can. If the sewer system is dry and water is not expected to run through for a reasonable time, pour water down the manhole after ZX-450 is added.

FOR INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS: Packing houses, food plants, etc. pour 6 pounds of ZX-450 into sewer drainage system. Add water if none is present If sewer lines are larger than 4 inches in diameter, use 25 pounds of ZX-450.

ZX-450 contains ingredients that are activated by water, resulting in intense agitation and heat being developed. This action loosens both organic and inorganic matter which causes clogging and stoppage. Emulsifies and saponified oils, fats and greases. Disintegrates paper and protein matter. Will create proper sewage action to unclog sewers and drains.

CAUTION

Keep away from hot surfaces, open flames, sparks. Do not breathe mist, spray, vapors, fumes. Wash hands, forearms and face thoroughly after handling. Wear eye protection, face protection, protective gloves.

If swallowed: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor. If on skin (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water. Brush off loose particles from skin. Immerse in cool water/wrap in wet bandages. Immediately call a doctor. If inhaled: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Immediately call a doctor. If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continuing rinsing. Immediately call a doctor. See Additional First Aid below.

Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Store locked up. In case of fire, use ABC-powder, carbon dioxide to extinguish. Dispose of contents/container to an approved waste disposal plant.

Fire fighting Instructions: Use water spray or fog for cooling exposed containers. Exercise caution when fighting any chemical fire. Prevent fire-fighting water from entering environ­ment. Fight fire remotely due to risk of explosion. Suitable extinguishing media: Foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide, water spray, sand.

ADDITIONAL FIRST AID
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If you feel unwell, seek medical advice (show the label when possible).

PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING
Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eating, drinking or smoking and when leaving work. Provide good ventilation in process area to prevent formation of vapor. Take precautions to avoid mixing with combustible materials. Do not breathe vapors, spray, mist, fumes. Avoid contact during pregnancy/while nursing.
